It was named as saraswati Veena for taking on the name of the Hindu god Saraswati is always pictured as playing a musical instrument and is well known in the Indian community. Saraswati musical instrument Veena addition, there are two other well-known musical instrument Veena in India namely Rudra Veena Vichitra Veena and both of which are played in Hindu classical performances, yet it is only saraswati musical instrument Veena just used in musical performances karnatak in India.
